Suppliers for Floating Offshore Wind required

Forth and Tay Offshore has been approached to identify potential supply chain companies with the capability and capacity to supply mooring and cable requirements for Floating Offshore Wind.

Developers who want to participate in ScotWind Leasing will have to provide a Supply Chain Development Statement in their Crown Estate Scotland application. Forth and Tay Offshore will continue to introduce opportunities to its supply chain companies. All businesses are encouraged to complete their online Capability Survey to be listed on the FTO Supply Chain Directory and alerted to future opportunities.

The company has requested that potential suppliers inform them of their current capacity capability but also to detail any future investment or expansion plans that would enable companies to meet these indicated volumes in the future and to indicate by when such increased capacity would be available.

Interested companies should contact Lynsey.Shovlin@scotent.co.uk before 4pm on Friday 22 May 2020.This is all the information available from the company at the moment: they will enter into 1-2-1 discussions with potential suppliers from the submitted supplier list.
