BUSINESS BREAKFAST -Levenmouth Local Energy Project

Local businesses are invited to a Business Breakfast on 28 March at Fife Renewables Innovation Centre, Methil, 8.30am - 10.30am.

Fife Council and Green Business Fife are looking to engage with businesses as part of a pilot project to inform how the council prepares for future energy and heat developments across Fife.

Businesses within the Levenmouth area are invited to give their views and get involved in a pilot Local Heat and Energy Efficiency Strategy (LHEES).

Businesses are encouraged to engage with the free service from Resource Efficient Scotland to reduce their energy costs, and this will help the council to map energy opportunities for future developments.

Resource Efficient Scotland will give an overview of the support they have on offer to help business achieve energy and waste reductions. One fantastic fund on offer from Resource Efficient Scotland is the SME Loan Fund, which currently has 15% cash back. Business owners, leaders and managers are urged to come along to learn how it could benefit their business.

Cllr Vettraino, Fife Council’s Convener – Environment Protective Services & Community Safety Committee said: “This event is a great opportunity for Levenmouth businesses to come along, make new contacts and learn how they can reduce their business energy costs from expert Resource Efficient Scotland Advisers.”
