Brand-Rex to increase its presence in the Middle East

A Glenrothes based company is to increase its presence and activity in the Middle East through a new partnership.

Brand-Rex, which supplies copper and fibre optic based network infrastructure for enterprises, data centres and extreme environments, has linked-up with How United Services.

The latter company delivers state-of-the-art mechanical, electrical, power and maintenance services to a diverse range of clients and employs 1,400 staff.

Its services are in high demand in Qatar, where the construction sector is thriving because of preparations for the 2022 FIFA World Cup and other major building projects.

“The appointment of HUS serves to further strengthen our commitment to developing and supporting our growing operations in the state of Qatar,’ concluded Brand-Rex country manager, Alaa Habanjar. ‘

Carole Ann Taylor Williams, marketing manager at HUS, said the link-up would be mutually beneficial, adding: “We recognise Brand-Rex as a major player in the provision of innovative network infrastructure products and systems.”
