Score Group reports rise in profits

Independent engineering firm Score Group has reported a 23% rise in profits as it continues to benefit from the buoyant oil and gas industry.The company, which operates around the world from its HQ in Peterhead, also has Scottish bases in Fife, in Cowdenbeath and Glenrothes. Its turnover accelerated from £150.5 million to almost £180m for the 12 months to September 26, 2013.
