All Energy success

Invest in Fife raised the profile of Fife and the excellent opportunities on offer to renewable energy companies at the All Energy 2010 Conference and Exhibition in Aberdeen last week. Eight companies with expertise in meeting the needs of the energy and renewable energy sectors made up the Fife stand organised by Fife Council’s Market Development Programme.

£875K ERDF funding for Fife

Fife Council’s Development Services recently received over £875,000 of European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) awards to help progress two of its main projects in the renewable industry sector.

Fife companies to showcase their renewable energy expertise at All Energy 2010

Invest in Fife heads to the Granite City next week to the All Energy Exhibition and Conference. As part of Fife Council’s Market Development Programme eight companies from Fife specialising in renewable energy will showcase their expertise at All-Energy 10, the UK’s largest event devoted to this industry. The tenth in the annual series will be held in Aberdeen on the 19 and 20 May 2010.

First Minister supports business fund

Local Authorities across the east of Scotland have acknowledged the First Minister’s support for a new East of Scotland Investment Fund (ESIF). The new fund could help create up to 1600 new jobs and generate an additional £43m turnover across the small to medium-sized enterprise sector.
